House of V - The hottest BDSM club in SL
Vveronica Pony is a bit of an enigma in SecondLife. Dark, romantic, mysterious and creator of the hottest BDSM club in SL, House of V.
House of V has been running since August 2006, and since its opening has strived to offer a place in Second Life where all comers feel welcome. Although HoV is a Fetish Club and predominantly oriented in BDSM, Vveronica insists that they welcome without judgment all different interests to the House of V.
" We offer an island full of places to play, explore or simply quietly talk with someone special. We foster an environment of mutual respect for all and are based on real life scene values. In our main room you will find good people. Guests and staff from the highly experienced R/L Domme or Dom to those exploring their curiosity as only SL can allow. With plenty of fun events and special days for our members you will find yourself always welcome."
It is free to become a friend of House of V, but there are also paid memberships. A full membership gives its members access to specialized BDSM play areas and dungeons, and a gold membership gives access to the gold club along with two subs, and allows for party hosting.
Another twist to being a member at HoV is "Members Day". Members days are held on tuesdays and fridays, and its a day where members can "claim" non-members.

The monsters ball? House of V is filled with some of the most beautiful avatars in Second Life. You can expect all kinds there, from Nekos, to Vampires to Faerie's. The design of the club itself is exquisite both inside and out, and truly is architecturally one of the most beautiful in SL.
HoV is always busy, and seems to be gaining in popularity every day.
It truly is a remarkable achievement for the immensely private Vveronica Pony, who likes nothing more than to quietly spend time with her love AllyA Fatale.
Together they take care of the day-to-day running of HoV, and are deeply committed to the project and eachother. I caught up with Vveronica and asked for her thoughts on HoV, and BDSM in SecondLife.
WebMaster: So Vveronica...What would you say is your role in the SL BDSM community?
Vveronica Pony : When I came to SL as a noob, like we all do I spent days wandering and looking for places to go. I am, as in RL, into Bondage, and I searched for a place I could feel welcome. While i did find so many noob places to play, the established clubs cared lil to any person new to their club. I think that is why I started HOV... to have a place that welcomes and does not judge, a place which respects and makes a person feel at home.
WebMaster: Nice ... So do you practise BDSM in real life?
Vveronica Pony : Yes, I have been in and around the BDSM lifestyle for years.
WebMaster: Cool.. and what does BDSM mean to you?
Vveronica Pony : The gift of Submission is truly the ultimate gift one can give to another.. It is not simply yielding to the will of another. True submission to another is giving all that you are and intrusting it in that person. Being that Dom/me intrusted with such a gift has to be recognized as the highest honor a person can receive. It should never be given or taken lightly. I think it is easy to, and far too many take it too lightly in RL, but its far easier to take it lightly in SL.
WebMaster: Yes I see.. So what do you think of BDSM in SL?
Vveronica Pony : In SL, BDSM offers an avenue to those who can't find what they search for, or hunger for in RL. It lets a person who "can't" in RL "be" in SL..I find that many more here are truly more real than in their real lives. Unrestricted without the limits, conditions or the burdens of RL.
WebMaster: Very true.. Have you got any advice for those wishing to learn about BDSM in SL?
Vveronica Pony : Do not hurry into SL BDSM. Take the time to find out where your interests truly lie.. You will be surprised what you find, and it may be what you least expect.
WebMaster: Ok.. So wheres the best place in SL to learn about BDSM?
Vveronica Pony : The House of V :) ... Seriously come to some of the classes we offer or just enjoy the company and good people (or fairies, demons, nekkos and furries).
WebMaster: Cool :) .. Finally... Do you have any further comments you'd like to add?
Vveronica Pony : Only that that the beautiful buildings of HoV are due to the creative hands of my wife AllyA. Our love is destined thru time. She holds my heart and my soul within her.

Yes you did hear that right.. members of HoV on tuesdays and fridays can claim non-members, and do whatever they like with them. Muhahahaa (evil laugh). This is what HoV says about it.
"We at House of V appreciate our members. We appreciate them so much we want them to use us! Every Tuesday and Friday is Member’s Day. Any paid up House of V member can have the free use of anybody they find at House of V on Tuesdays (Midnight to Midnight SLT). This includes escorts, dancers, staff, Friends, and non-member visitors. The only people that can say no are other members and HoV concierges and Officers. The only safe places are the landing and vendor areas."
So our suggestion to any non-members that don't wish to be claimed, is stay away from HoV on tuesdays and fridays. Or.... become a member! Membership is 500L per month and affords many benefits. Plus you can claim a non-member for yourself!
